Ain't no Facet like a Multi-Facet, 'Cuz a Multi-Facet Don't Stop

My name is Adrian, and I have a confession to make. This blog post won't offer much insight into becoming a physical specimen.

That being said, let's talk about T-shirts.

I've been busy making a bunch for you guys. I stay up late and do the printing in my living room. It is awesome! Here are a few shots at the project that has taken over my apartment:

Setting the Backround.

Printing the Fore-ground on top...

...drying in the rack....

Front and Back.

I will finish printing on all the shirts I have and bring them down. If there aren't enough to go around, then I will start a list of people who are still interested and what design/sizing they want etc. (don't give me this info now, as I'm not ready for it yet!).

The shirts will be $20, and I'm working on printing on some other stuff too (weightlifting shoe bags, anyone?)...If you have something you want me to print on, bring it in with $10 and I'll do it up for you.

Who knew that my involvement with CrossFit would lead me to a creative outlet?

Post things you've serendipitously learned via CrossFit to comments.

I'll start:

I learned that playground sand is much cheaper (about $5 for 50lbs) and much less hassle than beach sand...oh, and that CrossFit Games superstar Pat Barber leads a secret life as a Cabana-boy 4 months out of the year.

Back to training,
-Boz

...I just had to add this supercool photo of myself, Kallista Pappas and Pat Barber taken this weekend at CrossFit One World (www.crossfitoneworld.com). Kallista is 15 and took 25th at this years Crossfit Games! She is crazy strong and just a fantastic all-around human being.

Boz!! So stoked to see my finished Tshirt tomorrow. Thanks for all of your hard work.

Here are the things I have learned:
-I have learned how to eat properly.
-I have learned how to paddle down a river through crossfit.
-I have learned the definition of intensity.
-I have learned that Ross and Lucas are hilarious writers.
-I have learned through rather hilarious photos that Filthybrit is an awesome consumer of alcoholic beverages.

Psyched for a t-shirt. We should def do some hats.

Can you do banana hammocks?

I had the thought of doing some hats...seems entirely feasible.

If the print will fit on your banana hammock, I can make that happen for you!

The shirts look outstanding. I was thinking you could expand your line to knit hats, sweat shirts and chaps. I am sure that filthy brit has a pair in gnawgahyde as well as pleather.

I have learned humility. I simply can't move the same amount of weight in a functional exercise as I can in the sterile environment of a gym. The weight doesn't matter as much as the intensity does.

I've learned about cock push-ups. That's it, that's all I've learned.

Actually, speaking of sand-related insights, I've learned that filling a basketball w/ beach sand is an unbelievably tedious process. Seriously, I couldn't believe how long it took.

I will get a shirt to you soon adrian, Preferably hot pink. But ill have to get a few shirts to you. I was thinking one could read "I signed up for crossfit and all I got was this stupid shirt". What do you think. We need to branch out into humor. Ill think of some good ones. Maybe..."Get up you son of a bitch, because mickey loves you"! w/ a picture of mickey the trainer from rocky. I like that one.

Okay People!
We only have 5 people signed up for FGB on Sat. Sept 27th (time TBD).

LAME!

You know you are going to have to do the workout anyway. So get on it!

We definitely need more people/money raised. We at least have to beat LaLanne fitness.

Hey all,

I will be in NYC hangin' with Willie Nelson the weekend of FGB, but I am happy to donate to one of you fine SFCF athletes...

The first to email/fb me a request wins the big prize (and by big prize I mean donation).

I have learned that there is no greater community of people than those that workout at SFCF. I always thought it, but after leaving, there is no doubt in my mind.
I also learned that you should never attempt to box jump on to a newspaper carrier that isn't anchored after taking multiple shots of bourbon. I didn't have to do it personally, only observe the disaster.
Who is doing FGB for cash so I can send a small sum that I would have used to pay my tab after midterms?

I always love checking this blog. A day does not go by where I don't learn something new - anatomy, physical adaptation, diet, mechanics of sport, etc. Now I learn that Boz is a bitchin' t-shirt designer! All out of his living room - that's dedication! Nice work - those look sweeet! Take care guys! - Ian Carver - CrossFit Centurion
