And now for Something Completely different...

I've had the pleasure of being part of the Crossfit Certification at the Camp Pendleton Marine Base this weekend. Our gracious host Jimi Letchford took us out on the Marine Corps obstacle course today on our lunch break. It was definitely a good time! Check it out:

We ran this bad-boy through twice top to bottom (a double o-course), rested and then ran it backwards once immediately followed by forwards once. Good times! Next time you decide to go for a run, pick a straight line and see if you can navigate the obstacles you come across.

See you Monday,

Looks like tons of fun Boz.

Boz! That was pathetic. You climb obstacles like old people...well you know what I mean.

That's awesome. I love the "straight line" idea. Cunningham, you better hope you're not in my path!

Check out this assault course video I found on Petranek's website. Looks like a plaintiffs lawyer's worst nightmare (and thus by definition awesome).

Looks like an awesome time Boz!

You might've run the obsticle course, but did they give you any drill and ceremony practice?

Or maybe some reconnaissance training in not being seen?

Who knew Marines needed circus skills too?

Sometimes I wonder if Adrian is not a human being, but a robot sent from Canada to teach us proper form on our squats and to devastate military personnel in their own training equipment. hmmm...

hey, KStar. I did that course for a mud run once. Tough. Nice job, to you and Boz.

U never cease to amaze me, Adrian! Between the perfect squat (drink in hand) and handstands @ OC Tavern and now this video, I have new reasons to keep u as my favorite! Thanks again for all the good info and training this weekend @ the Pendelton cert. You are freakin AWESOME and I hope to train under you again soon. - Lauren (Army Strong)
