The mind is a very powerful tool and how we train ourselves to think plays out daily in reaching our goals, our personal relationships and whether or not we attend class, even if it is raining...again. It is this particular topic, the depressing (the author's views do not necessarily reflect those of the majority) amount of cold, blustery days we have had this winter that led me to do a little reading about the power of suggestion and hypnosis. Now, I am not a psychologist but, what I do know is that looking at pictures from my Hawaiian Honeymoon made me feel warmer, even with the rain and wind knocking outside. Rain or Shine is the beauty of Crossfit! Uncomfortable sometimes motivating but knowing I will be outside and upon arrival seeing the city lights still blazzing and continueing downhill to the calm glassy reflections of the lagoon and the bay. Sometimes cold or wet but feeling and breathing in the outdoors in the open air and dark into the sunrise...this is the Beauty and why I goto San Francisco Crossfit! No, not the beach in Hawaii but right outside across the street on San Francisco Bay seeing the Pacific Ocean under the Golden Gate Bridge looking and seeing the beauty in the fresh air and baby I say let it rain! Let it rain and let it blow! Everything is better outside and forgotten in the moment of the crossfit but feeling the air and seeing the light change makes it all the more true and honest to my soul. And thank you for the picture because breathing and seeing the outdoors is the best!
