A Word About What Your Abs Reall Do
Your abs are really misunderstood. Yeah, they like to perform situps and knees to elbows. But, what they really want to do is keep your spine in a neutral position.
Your abdominals and the other associated musculature of your trunk live and die to protect your spine under load, time, or task. That being said, most people don't realize that mid-line stabilization endurance, not peak strength, is what really matters.
Check out the Saturday Class spending a few extra minutes giving their abs what they really want, a chance to keep their spines from bending!

Kelly,
Glad to see you caught my good side on film (pixels?).
